Alhassan Fakiha Equalizes | Berry Ladies 1-1 Army Ladies

Berry Ladies FC dropped points in our last two fixtures with Hasaacas Ladies FC but we were able to maintain another good come back in our previous match against Ladystrikers Fc thanks to Janet Korkor Osei’s amazing finish.

Army Ladies FC led 1-0 in the 90th minute before a cross by our Captain, Regina Donkoh and an amazing header by Alhassan Fakiha dragged Berry Ladies FC to parity.

But in the end, it was a second draw for Coach Freeman Amponsah’s team, and a result that still gives Berry Ladies FC the advantage in the title race.

Army Ladies FC are still at the same points with Berry Ladies FC but leads Berry Ladies with goals placing Army Ladies second on the League table right above Berry Ladies FC.

Despite the comeback, this felt like another two points dropped after Berry Ladies FC’s own mistakes handed Army Ladies FC the early lead.

It could be said that both defenders and Goalkeeper gifted Army Ladies FC the opening goal.

The Skipper, Regina Donkor produced another stunning cross from outside the box area in the dyeing minutes and Alhassan Fakiha equalized by converting the cross with a curving header.

Despite five minutes of added time, Berry Ladies FC couldn’t find the winner as the attackers kept on pressing their defenders.
