The Madina Astro Turf, Home of Berry Ladies FC will host the Women’s FA Cup semifinal clash between Army Ladies and lower tier side FC Epiphany Warriors as both sides brawl for supremacy in an attempt to reach the final.

Even though FC Epiphany Warriors have been impressive in the Women’s FA Cup, it’s difficult to assess what trajectory they find themselves, but the signs look rosier after their excellent performance in the Greater Accra Women’s Division One League. After a historic victory over Premier League side, Jonina Ladies, FC Epiphany Warriors have been in superb form across competitions after becoming the first Women Division One side to reach the semi-final of the Cup competition since its inception in 2016.

On the other hand, Army Ladies come into the game on the back of a poor run in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, having lost miserably to Berry Ladies on Matchday 15 to drop to the 5th spot in the League table. Army Ladies booked their semi-final spot after emerging winners in the “service tussle” against Prison Ladies in the quarter final. Army Ladies come into the game as favorites because of their experience at the elite level but FC Epiphany aim to cause a major upset on Sunday.

This much anticipated game, scheduled for 2pm Kick Off will broadcast live on Max TV.
