A controversial 1-0 win over Army Ladies FC last time out followed a huge boost and confidence and Coach Freeman Amponsah’s side looked set for more wins though the earlier goal felt like a blow in 56th minute.
.
Jafaru Rahama’s 4th Goal of the season drew Berry Ladies FC level ahead of the interval, before Daniela Abass sealed all three points in the 70th minute with her second goal for the club following her move from Valued Girls Academy this season.
.
The result moves Berry Ladies FC up to fourth Position while Essiam Socrates Ladies moves to 5th Position. Our goalkeeper Portia Asante kept out powerful volley and shots that threatened to double their advantage. It was Essiam Socrates Ladies who scored first, though felt disappointing, but the captain, Cynthia Yiadom Boakye kept encouraging her team to focus until the equalizer by Jafaru Rahama.
.
Portia Sakyiwaa and Jacqueline Amponsah exchanged half-chances at the start of the second period before the latter saw a fine effort ruled out for offside shortly after the hour mark. Martha Appiah and Ernestina Amoateng clipped efforts against the post with 34 minutes remaining, but it mattered little as Coach Freeman’s squad ultimately held on with the minimum of fuss to extend their wins in the Women’s Premier League run at Madina Astroturf.

Comfort Yeboah excels againÂ
.
Comfort Yeboah continued her mission to reinvent the role of a full-back with another display brimming with attacking intent. Comfort Yeboah made more than three key passes – more than any other player on the pitch – among a team-high of 96 passes. She did blot her copybook by not losing possessions and that earned her the Most Valuable Player(MVP) or Player of the Match after yet another impressive all-round display.
