Berry Ladies FC finalize Rashida Ibrahim’s transfer to Abu Dhabi Sports Club

Rashia Ibrahim is officially an Abu Dhabi Sports Club player after the formalities of her transfer from Berry Ladies Football Club were successfully concluded at the beginning of the year 2023.

A deal to sign Rashida Ibrahim from Berry Ladies Football Club was announced at the early part of December 2022

The Ghanaian Female international could now come into contention for Abu Dhabi Sports Club upcoming matches in 2023.

In a statement, Berry Ladies Football Club said: “Berry Ladies FC and Abu Dhabi Sports Club have reached an agreement on the upcoming transfer of Rashida Ibrahim. The midfielder will immediately leave for UAE where she will undergo the necessary formalities to complete the transfer. Both clubs are not making any announcements about the transfer fee. “But this is a good transfer for Berry Ladies Football Club,” said general manager Victor Elias Seshie

Although Berry Ladies Football Club preferred to keep their star until the end of the season, CEO/ President Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah admitted that their resolve will be tested. “If I have the choice, I prefer the end of the season, but it can also be now, you know there comes a time when you can’t say, ‘no’,” Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah said.

“It is wonderful how she has showcased herself. I enjoyed watching her at every game, she deserves this because of how she has behaved, how she has continued to work and perform. I was able to help her from very close by and that makes me proud. I’ll give her her path when it comes.”
