After Four (4) seasons, Berry Ladies Football Club says goodbye to Portia Asante. Having arrived in 2019, the extreme defending Goalkeeper experienced an intense and exciting Nungua (Halifax Ladies fc) and Madina (Berry Ladies FC) seasons. They were seasons in which Portia Asante proved to be an important part of the group that helped Berry Ladies Fc get top 2 and top 4 positions in the Ghana Women’s Premier League. For Berry Ladies Fc, he made 98+ appearances.

Berry Ladies Football Club were reluctant to strike a deal, but the European giants got the move over the line for a fee (Undisclosed) with a deal to groom young goalkeepers in the club as well.

The stopper joins 07 Vestur in Europe on a Two-year deal running until December 2025, with the option of a further year.
