Berry Ladies FC started the game well, with both Comfort Cobinnah and Jacqueline Amponsah having efforts inside the first three minutes.
Regina Donkor was needed to make a strong block to deny Sophia, but Police Ladies FC were grateful to their goalkeeper, as she saved well from Janet Osei Korkor before Victoria Salifu’s follow-up was blocked by the captain.
Their forward twice went close, Elizabeth Ayebea headed off target and their defends denied Martha Appiah as Berry Ladies dominated.

After the interval it took the Berry Ladies FC fewer than four minutes to continue to pile pressure on Police Ladies.

Coach Freeman Amponsah made more than two changes on in the second half, with Felicity Antwi, Ernestina Amoateng and Hannah Buabeng all brought on for Cynthia Boakye Yiadom, Janet Korkor Osei and Comfort Cobinnah, and almost immediately Felicity Agyei-Antwi became the latest player to be thwarted by their goal keeper.
