Colombia 2024: Deborah Annoh and Jacqueline Amponsah Receive Black Princesses (U20) Call-Up

In a thrilling development for Berry Ladies Football Club, two of our most promising young talents, Deborah Annoh and Jacqueline Amponsah, have been called up to the U20 national team by Coach Yusif Basigi. This announcement comes as both players have recently been recognized for their exceptional performances in the 2023/2024 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier league, earning accolades that have catapulted them into the national spotlight.

The technical team of the Black Princesses called up 35 players to report to camp ahead of the team’s preparations for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The team qualified for their seventh successive World Cup earlier this year with Yussif Basigi’s side making preparations for this year’s edition to be staged in Colombia.

All the 35 players called up as well as the technical team are already in Cape Coast with the first training session expected to be staged on Friday, June 28. The players reported to camp on Thursday, June 27 ahead of camping.
