Comfort Cobinnah says she is living the dream as she reflected on her few months as a Berry Ladies FC player.
The Midfield Maestro moved to Berry Ladies FC from a division one team at the first transfer window and has since established herself well within Coach Freeman’s squad, making more than 12 appearances including the Super Cup League at the beginning of the 2023/2024 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League
Cobinnah recently spoke to Berry Ladies FC Media Team about her adaptation process and how she has found settling in at Madina (Home of Berry Ladies FC).
“To play in the Ghana Women’s Premier League is my dream, so I’m really enjoying playing football as a Berry Ladies FC player,” said the No.6.
“Of course, to move to a big club is very difficult to adapt [to] but as a football player, everyone always wants to play in front of the big crowds and teams.
“So for me it was a big decision, yes, but it was my dream so it’s an amazing move for me.”

“Everything!” she said when asked to compare what is different from playing in Division One.
“Physically and [in terms of] speed, everything is different between the Division One league and the Premier League, in my opinion.
“The Division One league, tactically they are very focused on details, but the Premier League is very tough and they always try to play forward.”
Having arrived with a reputation as a predominantly offensive-minded midfield player, Cobinnah has been able to show her attacking capabilities at Berry Ladies FC too, scoring a goal in a spectacular fashion and giving 2 assists, with many involvements in most of our wins.
Reflecting on those moments, she said: “Everyone might think in that situation, ‘Why is Cobinnah there?’ or something like that, because I’m a No.6!
“But what I always try is to play offensively. It worked very well, I’m so happy to score goals and assist for Berry Ladies FC. The atmosphere was amazing, so it was good to win that game as well.”
