Berry Ladies Football Club’s teenage attacking sensation Jacqueline Amponsah was called up to Tite’s Black Princesses Squad ahead of Wafu Zone B Women’s U 20 Cup of Nations in May.

The young lad has made a huge impact at Berry Ladies FC since moving from Valued Girls at the start of the season. Although she began this campaign in Valued Girls Football Academy, Jackie has quickly risen to an almost guaranteed first team starter.

She has not just been Berry Ladies FC’s most dangerous attacking player since, she’s also the main reason some defenders in some clubs look weary because of her speed.

Jacqueline Amponsah‘s inclusion will create some excitement during the competition due to her skills and speed, always exciting fans. Black Princesses Coach Yussif Basigi called up Thirty-four players to report to the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram on Sunday, April 2, to begin preparations. The Princesses have not been in action since October last year when they played in the FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup in Costa Rica.

Coach Basigi is expected to put together a strong squad to compete against Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Ivory Coast, Togo and Burkina Faso. The first edition of the WAFU Zone B Women’s U-20 Cup of Nations will take place in Kumasi from Saturday, May 20 to Sunday, June 4, 2023.
