We are pleased to announce our first player commitment this transfer window as we welcome back Jacqueline Amponsah to the club.
The prolific winger has a wealth of experience as she had good season having come from Valued Girls Academy to Berry Ladies Football Club last two seasons, but now she’s ready for a new challenge in both Malta Guinnes Women’s Premier League and upcoming Super Cup.
“It feels very good to be here again! I’m really excited about my commitment to Berry Ladies Football Club,” said Jackie after completing her renewal signing with the Club. “I think it’s a great club, [there are] great players here– I’ve had good seasons with my Berry Ladies family and I’m really excited to be a part of the team again this coming season.
“For me, I really want to win titles with Berry Ladies Football Club. I think it’s a great women’s team, like I said. I think it’s [a place that has] really good facilities, and everything around the club and the team seems to be really good.”
“Coach Freeman definitely played a part (in my decision to stay here)! For me, he’s one of the best coaches I’ve had. I’ve really enjoyed playing under him. I’m looking forward to working with him again. At my time at Valued Girls Football Club, he was also influencing me a lot as a player. I was younger then, and he was and still like a father to me, obviously! He made me develop a lot.”
