The Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League has announced that our Away league match against Ridge City Women FC has been moved to Wednesday, May 3, kicking off time not confirmed yet.
This change has unfortunately been made after working to try to find a solution with the usage of the Madina AstroTurf for urgent events which are equally important for the people of Madina.
We are very disappointed with the impact and disruption this fixture change will cause to our supporters, particularly after this match had been initially approved for a Saturday afternoon kick-off.
Please find below Berry Ladies Football Club statement:
The Malta Guinness Women Premier League fixture between Ridge City Women FC and Berry Ladies FC at Madina Astroturf, scheduled to take place on Saturday 1st May at 3.00pm, will now take place on Wednesday 3 May at yet to approve time. Â
The initial scheduling of this match was approved at usage of the Madina Astroturf Grounds for events in April. However, the Madina Astroturf management has now revised its position regarding the kick-off time and requested further events which determined the match had to be re-scheduled.  Â
We regret the need to move this fixture at late notice and the impact this will have on supporters.
Signed,
Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah
(Chief Executive Officer)
