The 2024 and Fourth edition of Women’s Premier Super Cup begins on 21st September at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence, Prampram

The Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence, Prampram has been selected to host the Fourth edition of the Ghana Women’s Premier Super Cup.

The off season tournament will kick off on September 21 and end on September 29, 2024. The first to fourth clubs from the Northern Zone and Southern Zone (Berry Ladies FC placed 3rd position) in the just ended 2023/2024 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League automatically qualifies to participate in this edition.

Balloting and pairing schedules for the entire competition will be released at a later date.

The rationale is to give clubs more games outside the League campaign to make them competitive and to add to the limited number of games that are played in the course of the season.

The mini tournament also aims to give an additional incentive to clubs and players to prepare them for the new season.

The first half of the match was an exhilarating affair, and both teams appeared intent on outdoing each other but chances were far and few as the game wore on.

Christabel Boateng slotted home the winning goal in the 46th minute marks – few seconds after the break to put the Berries in front.

While the game was heading to an end, Faith Ladies took firm control, with Beauty Abena Julius was resolute at the back for Berry Ladies who hanged on for victory.

Goalkeeper Grace Akrofi Amoah was adjudged player of the match as the game ended 1:0 in favour of Berry Ladies.
