The release of the new Women’s Premier League fixture list is one of the most anticipated days of the calendar for any supporter of a top-flight club, and the time is nearly upon us again.
Now that the line-up for the 2023/24 campaign has been confirmed with some division one teams joining us in the Premiere next term, the Premiere fixture computer is busy drawing up the schedules that will determine our fate next season.
Here is everything you need to know, including when you’ll find out who we’ll face, and other key dates for your diary:
When are the fixtures released?
All Southern and Northern Zone teams of our league matches will be revealed right here on www.berryladiesfcgh.com which will be shared on our various social media handles so do well to join all our social media handles. Click HERE to Join
These fixtures will then be altered in due course due to our involvement in the SUPER CUP since we were part of the TOP 4 flight clubs at the end of the 2022/2023 season.
When will the first weekend be?
The next season might start on a weekend so if you have schedules on weekends, off load them as its going to be full of drama and new faces on the Madina Astroturf. The final match round of the Super Cup will determine the actual date of next season so don’t miss our matches during the Super Cup.
This means the calendar has now returned to its traditional format, after being altered heavily over the past seasons to accommodate the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2022 World Cup.
How will the season be structured?
The 2023/24 campaign will consist of matches across weekends, as well as Women FA Cup rounds.
For supporters planning their festive fixtures, there might be matches across Christmas and New Year so get your festive support ready.
Other key dates
The transfer window is now open, before slamming shut at around September & October.
The window will be re-open from January 2024 and will close around February and March so watch out for new faces at Berry Ladies FC.
